Opening of the exhibition "Dimensions" at the Pod Tekstem Gallery in Nowa Sól
On October 14, 2024, I had the pleasure of presenting my work during the opening of the exhibition Dimensions at the Galeria Pod Tekstem in Nowa Sól. It was a special event, not only because of the art, but above all because of the place and the people who were with me that day.
Nowa Sól is my hometown, so the exhibition here had a special meaning for me. After many exhibitions in different parts of Poland, returning to my roots and the opportunity to share my work with family, friends and acquaintances from my youth was extremely moving.
The exhibition included paintings from different stages of my work – from the beginnings, including works from my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, to the latest ones. They included, among others, the series Kosmos and Biometric Metamorphosis. All these paintings are united by a fascination with space, geometry and multidimensionality, which have been an inseparable element of my style for years.
The vernissage was also exceptional because of the atmosphere my guests created. Many warm words, conversations and glances full of understanding made me feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to share what I create. It is thanks to you that this evening was so unforgettable!
I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Ms. Małgorzata Tatuśko for the perfect preparation of the exhibition and to Mr. Tomasz Jędraszak, Director of the Library, for providing this exceptional space.
This evening was not only a celebration of art, but also a return to memories and a meeting with people who accompanied me at different stages of life. It was also a reminder of how important my roots are to me and how much motivation is the awareness that what I do moves other people.
If you did not have the opportunity to be with us that day, I invite you to view the photos from the event. I hope that they reflect the atmosphere of this exceptional evening at least a little!
I have more challenges ahead of me and new projects that are already being created. In the meantime, I would like to thank once again everyone who was a part of this event – both on site and in thoughts.
